Baked French Fries
The cooking time will differ on these based on what type of potato you use and how thick you cut the fries. I most often use red potatoes and cut them a little thicker than a standard pencil.
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
2. Cut fries to desired size.
3. Toss fries in a large ziploc bag with some olive oil and basil.
4. Cook on a greased cookie sheet and begin checking them at 20 minutes. May take up to 40 minutes for very large fries.
