Kale Chips
I have finally perfected my kale chips! Kale is a superfood, and kale chips are a great way to incorporate kale into a diet. They are super simple to make!
Don't buy the bagged kale. The pieces are too small. Buy the fresh kale and pick off bite-size pieces. Be sure to cut out the center stem and any other large stems in the bunch.
It is hard to give exact measurements because it depends on how much kale you have.
First, pick off your kale pieces and put them into a bowl. Then, add enough olive oil to give a light coating to the kale. Do not saturate, just a little goes a long way. Use your hands and mix up the oil and kale until it is lightly coated.
Place on a baking sheet with a non-stick liner or parchment paper. Spread them out over the tray. Use salt or seasoning salt sparingly on the kale.
Cook at 350 for between 10 and 15 minutes. They are finished when they are crispy. Be careful because they will burn if left to cook too long.
