One of my biggest fears has always been if something happened to me, or if my son was separated from me, that someone would give him food (like ice cream or candy) to calm him down. That would be terrible, so this bracelet gives me some peace of mind.
I like them better than an engraved bracelet because you can change the information anytime, and add as much as you need. It fits VERY tiny wrists (there are two sizes, ages 2-9 and ages 10-15). I filled out the information and laminated it, and it fits snugly in the bracelet. I even added one sheet of info I made out of an index card I cut down very small. We were able to list all his allergies, mom and dad contact information, and his doctor’s contact information.
This company makes several types of alert bracelets, so make sure when you order you are getting the “Medical” bracelet and not one of the others. Also make sure you are buying the right size because they sell child/kid, youth, and adult bracelets.
The cheapest place I have found to buy them is Kenson Parenting Solutions.
