Snacks
Here are the basic options we use for snacks:
- Yogurt and Granola
- Snack Bars
- Muffins
- Sunbutter and Crackers
- Hummus and Pita Chips
- Raw Veggies
- Fruit
- Raisins
- Gummy Fruit Snacks
- Trail Mix
- Smoothies
- Popcorn
Here are our on-the-go snacks. I use these for when we are out shopping and I need snacks the kids can eat that are not messy:
- Cereal mix
- Kashi TLC Bars (only one type is free from our allergens)
- Dried Fruit
- Trail Mix
- Raisins
- Lollipops
- Pouch Baby Food -- I prefer the Happy Tots brand but there are many others. Even when my daughter refuses veggies, she will eat these pouches! I think it is more the novelty of the pouch than the food itself. But, regardless, they are a great way to sneak in vegetables. Not all brands are free from allergens.
Here's our "junk" food!
- Fritos
- Skittles or Starburst
- Jellybeans
- Baked Goods
- Enjoy Life Chocolate Bars, Cookies
