If you are ever in the position to care for a child, then you are eligible for savings with Amazon Mom. But it is not just for moms....you can be a dad, a grandparent, or a childcare worker. Membership is free.
This is a great program and can help save you money whether you are buying baby supplies or any product on Amazon. If you do not have access to natural food stores where you live, you can buy them through Amazon at a discount and often with free shipping.
Here are the benefits of joining:
*30% off diapers
*30% off wipes
*15% off groceries (think specialty and allergy-friendly foods!)
*15% off household supplies
*Amazon Prime membership for 1 year. This is my favorite benefit. On many items, you receive free two-day shipping and oftentimes the item will actually arrive the next day. When you spend $25 on baby items in one transaction, you will extend your Prime benefits for another month, up to an additional year. I have done this several times now after sending baby diapers and wipes to friends with new babies.
Amazon also has a "Subscribe and Save" program. If you buy certain products, you an sign up for this program where you agree that the product will be re-shipped to you again after a certain period of time, like a month or six months. You'll receive 15% off your initial purchase which can be combined with, for example, the 30% off diaper benefit of Amazon Mom. Also, you can cancel the Subscribe and Save subscription, so you are not actually tied to buying anything in the future.
I once ordered a bulk package of Enjoy Life Trail Mix through this program. This was a product I could not find locally at a reasonable price. It was on sale, plus I got the 15% discount and free shipping thanks to my Amazon Prime membership benefit of Amazon Mom. However, a couple months after I received the product, a local store started carrying it and I was able to pick up several bags on sale. So, I stocked up at the store and canceled the future delivery of the Trail Mix.
Amazon is probably one of my favorite places to shop. They are not always the cheapest, so you have to shop around. But they are generally my first stop due to their excellent database of customer reviews. I love the quick shipping and I have always had good customer service experiences with returns.
Give Amazon Mom a try and I bet it will save you some money!
